As part of its mission to promote and develop awareness of amateur sport, Sport Nova Scotia has created "Sport Quarterly", a 16-page, newspaper insert distributed through The Chronicle Herald (provincial edition). Published in June, September, December and March.

Each year, Sport Nova Scotia produces its Annual Report. This publication features the year’s financial operations, as well as reports on the activities and achievements of Sport Nova Scotia during the past year.


Scoreboard is a monthly bulletin from Sport Nova Scotia designed to help keep members updated.

Facts & Figures

Facts and Figures is a part of Sport Nova Scotia's Sport Makes a Difference advocacy campaign. This publication is intended to educate decision-makers and various stakeholders about the benefits of amateur sport to our community, health, youth, and economy. Through this publication, Sport Nova Scotia hopes to give concrete data that motivates Nova Scotians of all ages to join a sport, encourage more financial investment and support in amateur sport from the private sector, and from all three levels of government – municipal, provincial, and federal.
